The Kansas Information Technology Office (KITO) guides Kansas State Government information technology through the adoption and review of a strategic information management technology plan, statewide information technology architecture, project management methodologies, project management oversight and IT policies and procedures. KITO also provides enterprise information technology coordination and collaboration services, including support for the activities of the Chief Information Technology Officers, the Chief Information Technology Architect, Information Technology Executive Council, the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Director and Policy Board and other requirements identified in K.S.A. 75-7201 through 75-7212 and ITEC policy.
