OITS provides local telephone service or dial tone for state agencies located in Topeka and Wichita. This service gives customers many options, including three-way calling, five digit dialing, and others. OITS also provides Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and voice mail.

The Kansas Wide Area Information Network (KanWIN) provides the hardware, software, and management tools necessary to support and manage the statewide data network. KanWIN provides network connectivity to state agencies and local units of government.

OITS provides long distance services to customers through KANS-A-N.
