What We Do
The Information Technology Advisory Board, or ITAB, as it is more commonly known, functions
as a technical resource to the Chief Information Technology Officer, or CITO for the Executive
Branch of state government.

Information About ITAB
ITAB is formally chartered by
Information Technology Policy 3100,which describes its responsibilities and membership, and
is made up of senior managers of state information technology organizations along with representatives
of private industry and local units of government. Meetings typically draw additional attendance
from technical specialists, business unit managers, and legislative liaison staff, interested in
the discussions of technology issues or special issue-oriented presentations.
Meeting monthly, its agendas span the range of information technology issues: Internet
Utilization, State Contract Development, Information Technology presentations, and the developing
Statewide Technical Architecture. Questions about meeting location and current agenda should be directed to the Office
