Kansas Information Technology Advisory Board (ITAB)

The Information Technology Advisory Board, or ITAB as it is more commonly known, functions as a technical resource to the Chief Information Technology Officer, or CITO for the Executive Branch of state government.

ITAB is formally chartered by Information Technology Policy 3100,which describes its responsibilities and membership, and is made up of senior managers of state information technology organizations along with representatives of private industry and local units of government. Meetings typically draw additional attendance from technical specialists, business unit managers, and legislative liaison staff, interested in the discussions of technology issues or special issue-oriented presentations.

Meeting monthly, its agendas span the range of information technology issues: Internet Utilization, State Contract Development, Information Technology presentations, and the developing Statewide Technical Architecture. Questions about meeting location and current agenda should be directed to the Office of the Chief Information Technology Officer, Executive Branch, 785-296-3463.
